Dear Student:

It is an honor to welcome you to Hinds AHS.  A new school year presents opportunities for various beginnings new classes, new faces, new courses and often new materials.  I am eager, as your principal to accept the task of helping you acquire a quality education.
    
You will be offered an array of opportunities at Hinds AHS to express your skills and talents, both in academics and extra-curricular activities.  I hope you accept these opportunities by applying yourself to the utmost.
    
Our faculty and staff are very competent here at Hinds AHS. They have very high expectations for our school.  Our students are most important in reaching those high expectations.  We are here to help you reach your desired level of achievement.
